Working in a General Practice setting is different to working in a hospital; you will form lasting relationships with patients in your community, work as part of an integrated care team, plus be in control of your hours – no more evenings or night shifts. Here is why you might like to work with us…
1.
No day is ever the same
- Work to your full scope of practice and perform advanced skills such as cervical screening, iron infusions and chronic disease management
- Manage patients with triage categories 4 and 5 i.e. fractures, sprains, dislocations and wounds requiring suturing
- Choose to work in a variety of clinical areas i.e. treatment room, occupational health, skin & chronic disease management
2.
Be in control of the way you work
- Work where you live and make a difference in your local community
- No evening and night shifts. Our nurses mainly work between 8am – 4pm (and sometimes to 8pm)
- Competitive salary
- 5 weeks annual leave (for full time nurses and pro-rata for part time)
3.
Be a leader in preventative health

- Be a part of the COVID vaccine rollout
- Help your patients manage their chronic diseases over the course of their lives
- Keep patients fit and healthy and out of hospital
4.
Work as part of an integrated care team
- Achieve optimal patient outcomes by working within a friendly, supportive team of GPs, specialists & allied health practitioners
- Work as part of a single-point of primary care, including sub-specialities (skin, women’s health, chronic disease management), diagnostic services, pharmacy, dental
5.
Be supported on your career pathway
- Clear career path with opportunities for leadership positions
- Scholarships for further study (coming soon)

"I love working with ForHealth. I have been a practice nurse here for 3 years and the team is supportive and well organised. No day is ever the same at ForHealth and I look forward to continuing to work and grow with the team, and to provide excellence in healthcare to the community."
